Please extend Bio and link to Calgary… Website is nice, but a little dull. Will take time to pick up, but that is understandable.
Keep up the good work, and please run for Mayor. Bronco-boy is way past his best before date. Hope he does not gain too much from West-leg LRT, East- and West-village investments after he has left the building.
Mark!
Thank you for your kind words…
I got into this game because I didn’t like what I saw in ward 6. Now that I am downtown, I don’t like what I see happening for our city.
I believe we need to be more focused on delivering core services and delivering them well.
Unfortunately, we seem to have lost our focus but I assume that’s relatively easy with 25 Council priorities.
Stay in touch. I appreciate your thoughts.
Alderman Joe Connelly
Joe,
Good Show!!..This is what the citizens desire, a leader of the people, one who reveals who he is by his deeds…One more for your Cowboy Ethics…”Your word is your bond & your handshake is your promise”
Ride on Cowboy!
This was a great read though! Thanks..
You have my vote should you walk that road.
I have been impressed with the communications that come from your office. You offer us constituents respect, care and communication – all of Calgary needs this, not just Ward 6. I would love to have someone I can respect in office!!
The information above seems to be correct and interesting ,thanks for sharing the valuble information. Keep psting good work.
Yup, couldn’t agree more. And I’d like to add that you’ve got a great colour scheme on your site, I suffer with colour blindness and many webmasters don’t give us a second thought!
Hi Alderman Connelly
This is Julian from Glamis Green Condos and we had issues with the builder that renovated our units and also the City inspectors. If you remember, you came out to meet with the City and us to help us move forward. I really appreciated your time and effort and it will be my honor to vote for you for Mayor in October. I know you are an honest man with integrity and you will hold people accountable as it seems that is missing in this City. I love living here but we need to move forward and have people in City Council that are there for the right reasons and not for other purposes…no names mentioned.
Thank you
Julian, thanks for your kind words of support. I have an update for you…please email my office at joe.connelly@calgary.ca.

David, Flashy, Pamela & Edmonton Windows– glad you had a read-though and I appreciate your support. I get great feedback from my ward updates. Tell your friends and neighbors to email me at joe.connelly@calgary.ca if they want on my contact list. We try to make it relevant and newsworthy.
Joe
Hi Cortaflex!

Nice to hear about the site launch, some initial criticism however we fully acknowledge this is a new site that is always evolving, and most importantly we will always consider constructive feedback in all aspects. We endeavor to engage our community, we can not navigate our future if we do not know what YOU are thinking and feeling about our City.
